He is an elected Committee Member of the Association of Pension Lawyers Scottish Group and an alternate member of the Law Society of Scotland Pensions Law Sub-Committee.
Dual-qualified in English and Scots law, he is a published author on employment and pension law topics and been cited in the UK courts including the UK Supreme Court.
